Using their empathy map and evidence wall, teams draft a How Might We statement naming a real audience, a real decision problem, and the need behind it without proposing a solution. Teams complete a quick gallery critique, give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise once before turning in a final version with 3 supporting evidence bullets from text and interviews. This checkpoint serves as the gate into the next design phase.
