Students explore the school using sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste clues hidden in different locations. Teachers model noticing language (“I hear…”, “I feel…”) and record children’s observations with photos and dictation. The hunt ends with finding a large blank Midtown map that introduces the idea of learning from community helpers.
