Small groups travel by public transportation to conduct short interviews and on-site observations near the casino area and surrounding downtown blocks. Students capture audio clips, timestamped field notes, photos of public-space conditions, and observational details that distinguish what they saw from what they inferred. Back in class, they log evidence into their investigation notebooks and note contradictions, patterns, and missing voices.
