Students rotate through stations with kid-friendly photos, short nonfiction passages, and brief fiction excerpts about fairness, safety, and respect. Using sticky notes and chart paper, they record what right may be involved, what evidence they notice, and whether the example comes from a story or real life. The class closes by naming patterns they noticed across the text set and previewing the investigation notebook they will build through the project.
