🧭 Source Log Calibration

Students study 2 model entries from a Clue Hunter research notebook and practice using the class evidence log with fields for source type, citation, audience, persuasive tools, and a purpose judgment of inform, persuade, or control. The teacher and librarian/media literacy specialist coach students on what makes an annotation traceable and credible. Students then complete one calibrated practice entry using a short Cultural Revolution poster or slogan.
