❓ Wonder Questions for Flags

In pairs, students study 3 to 4 flag cards and generate question cards such as 'Why do these flags all use red?' or 'What does the leaf or star show?' They sort questions into ones they can investigate by looking closely and ones that need another source, then choose one class-supported investigable question. Partners give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their question so it names the flags or features they will study.
