Submission Required
In small groups, students rotate through clue cards that require classifying decimals as rational or irrational, estimating square or cube roots with benchmarks, matching equivalent exponent expressions on mini-whiteboards, and rewriting measurement quantities in scientific notation. Each group records evidence and checks in an Investigation Notebook and completes a shared clue tracker that reveals a hidden campus-distance challenge. The class closes by naming one question they still have about when an exact value is necessary and one case where an estimate seems more useful.
