Grading Required
Students complete a timed mock defense in which they present their issue, claim, evidence, symbolism, and call to action to a guest or teacher acting in the Teach Democracy role. They answer follow-up questions in real time, including one counterargument challenge and one question about source credibility or artistic choices. Students use the rubric-aligned score sheet as a milestone gate before moving to final polishing.
