Each student delivers a 60-second pitch of their issue, preliminary claim, intended audience impact, and planned painting message while the teacher checks readiness to move into full research. Students submit the revised claim sheet, thumbnail plan, and research question list. Progression is based on whether the position is arguable, ethically framed, and specific enough for evidence gathering.
