🖼️ Social Change Gallery Reveal

Students rotate through a mini gallery of protest art, mentor social commentary paintings, short clips from “I Have a Dream” and “Remarks on the Assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.,” and selected lines from “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” They complete a notice/wonder quickwrite, post one community issue they care about, and discuss the essential question using a silent-to-spoken protocol. The class closes with the project reveal and overview of the painting, essay, multimedia presentation, artist statement, peer panels, and Gallery Walk.
