🌊 Who Pollutes? Watershed Launch

Students engage in a watershed simulation with Heal the Bay media, a local runoff map, and sample beach debris photos to observe how products and waste move from streets to rivers, beaches, and the ocean. The class debriefs the driving question, identifies visible pollution pathways, and posts first-notice observations on a source-to-sea board using sticky notes and map pins. Students close with a brief reflection journal entry naming one product that may contribute to local waterway pollution and why.
