🚀 Launch Day Simulation

Students work in small teams as engineers, data analysts, and launch controllers to act out a mock water bottle rocket mission using role cards, a sample launch diagram, countdown checklist, and teacher-provided flight data. Teams predict what information they would need to track a rocket’s path, notice what can be measured during a launch, and record one class-ready investigable question on a chart or notebook page. The teacher closes by introducing the driving question and the digital portfolio and gallery walk products students will build toward.
