🎵 Song Feelings Circle

Students begin with a listening circle using the prompt about a song they like, why they like it, and how it makes them feel. A teaching artist from Lōkahi: The Ukulele Collective performs a short ʻukulele song, and the class names what they notice about the instrument, beat, and mood on chart paper. The teacher closes by introducing the essential question and the class goal of creating and submitting an original song or new verse.
