Students set out their finished visitor guides, maps, labeled landforms, captions, and poems for California Park Passport Night or a museum walk. Each student gives a short explanation of their park’s region, ecosystem, and conservation recommendation to classmates and invited guests, including the ranger, while visitors ask questions and collect passport stamps. The teacher and ranger use a shared rubric to score how clearly students use evidence and explain why the park is worth protecting.
