🧪 Implementation and Data Collection Plan

In small groups, children use their prepared farmland model, picture cards, and teacher prompts to say what they want their solution to do before testing: keep soil in place when water is poured. They point to the signs they will watch for during the test, such as muddy runoff, moved soil, and whether the grass or mulch stays covering the dirt. An adult records the group’s oral plan with photos and a simple class checklist as students choose the cup of water, tray, and clear collection bin they will use.
