Teams review their empathy artifacts, problem statement, and success criteria, then use a timed concept-generation protocol to sketch 3 clearly different comic approaches on index cards or a digital whiteboard. Variations must differ in panel sequence, narrator voice, visual style, and how the science idea unfolds for a 5th grade reader. The class closes with a quick compare-and-cluster discussion using desirability, clarity, and scientific accuracy prompts.
