✏️ Poster and Atlas Sketch Burst

In small groups, students use a 4-square planning template, crayons, sticky notes, and source cards to brainstorm several different map poster or atlas page ideas before choosing one. They sketch at least 3 quick concepts that show a specific Orange County landform, where people travel or play there, and one map feature set such as symbols plus a legend. A brief teacher check-in helps groups revise one sketch for clearer landform accuracy before they star their strongest direction.
