Submission Required
Students rehearse their oral map talk in pairs, pointing to coastlines, hills, valleys, trails, or water features on their draft poster while a partner uses a checklist to note accuracy, clear pointing, and one explanation about travel, recreation, or conservation. The county parks ranger then listens to several sample talks, asks short questions, and offers feedback connected to real local places and park care. Students finish with a brief revision round to improve one sentence, one gesture, or one map feature based on partner or ranger feedback.
