Teams combine individual research into a shared newspaper layout with article sections, captions, one opinion box, and at least one feature that shows different perspectives about California industries. Students use Google Docs or Slides to assemble the draft and assign roles such as headline writer, caption checker, quote finder, and layout lead. The newspaper remains unfinished on purpose so teams can improve it in the testing phase.
