🗺️ Chicago runoff patterns launch

Students examine a short set of Chicago River neighborhood stormwater photos, drainage maps, and a brief Department of Water Management case snapshot to notice where oil, trash, and chemicals may enter runoff systems. The class co-creates a question board and a shared evidence chart that separates observations, inferences, and assumptions before beginning deeper research.
