Students use their plan to create a first-version prototype: a draft digital map with layers, a neighborhood identity layout, or a sketched community space concept with labeled features and evidence callouts. Midway through class, teams pause for a structured peer critique where each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises based on comments about clarity, user needs, and evidence alignment. The work session ends with a short tuning round focused on whether the design reflects neighborhood history, transit access, and community life.
