📏 Scale Map and Shape Match

Using room measurements from the kickoff, students practice converting real dimensions into a simple scale on grid paper and matching calming-space features to geometric shapes such as rectangles, circles, sectors, prisms, and cylinders. The teacher models one worked example for a rug, seat, and storage bin, then teams label likely movement, seating, and storage zones on a draft floor outline. Students add unit labels and quick area or volume estimates for at least two features they may include.
