In a short teacher conference, each team defends its final protocol, explains how it will handle contradictory evidence, and demonstrates its note-taking and coding tools with a sample source. Teams that meet the benchmark are cleared to begin fieldwork in the next phase; teams that do not yet meet the benchmark revise targeted sections during the remaining time. This is the phase gate for moving into evidence collection.
