Students rotate through a gallery of posted Birmingham Jail excerpts, youth-friendly mental health infographics, and recent headlines about systemic racism. Using sticky notes, they label each source with an evidence-based observation, one question, and one possible connection to psychological well-being. The class closes with the driving question, final products, and a brief preview of Justice in Focus Night so students understand the audience and purpose for the work ahead.
