Students will enter a city-planning challenge, analyze a flawed city block for area, perimeter, and layout problems, and record measurable design criteria and constraints they will use in later phases.

Students will refine and showcase a city-block design by checking it against criteria and constraints, testing whether measured spaces fit, revising with evidence, and preparing a hallway-ready display that explains area, perimeter, geometry choices, and improvements.

Students will present their finished cityscape designs in a hallway showcase, explain how area, perimeter, and geometry guided their planning decisions, respond to questions from other students, and complete a final performance-based reflection on revisions and trade-offs.
