Pairs revisit their station notes from the Fraction Match-Up Challenge and sort observations about paper strips, circles, rectangles, and number lines into three parts: a testable question, a prediction, and a step-by-step evidence plan. They use a teacher-provided planning board, fraction model pieces, rulers or fold guides, and a recording template to decide which fractions to compare and how they will check equal parts and correct placement. Midway through, each pair gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises both the question and method before a quick teacher checkpoint. The finished artifact is a partner investigation board that includes one comparison claim to test, one number line check, and one planned revision step.
