Students respond to a provocative claim about which identity groups should have more say in local solutions by physically placing themselves on a continuum and explaining their reasoning with sentence stems and ethnic studies vocabulary. The class records patterns of agreement, disagreement, and uncertainty on a shared chart that names affected groups, decision-makers, and missing voices. Students finish with a brief written position statement they will revisit later.
