📚 Source Credibility and Issue Log

Students examine a set of local articles, data snapshots, and testimonial excerpts about possible Madera issues and use a credibility checklist to judge source type, author, date, evidence, and relevance. They begin an issue log in which they record one possible claim, one confirming source, one source that complicates the claim, and a short note about what more they need to learn. Before closing, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their issue log entry.
