In small groups, students share a loved one’s story and record firsthand notes on identity, relationships, habits, objects, colors, sayings, and meaningful memories. They use respectful listening stems and follow-up questions to surface details that could become portraits, symbols, labels, or altar objects. Students end by selecting the strongest evidence that shows care rather than generic decoration.
