🏛️ Old Town Artifact Observation

Students study altar images, artifact photos, and museum staff commentary from Old Town San Diego State Historic Park using a guided note-catcher. They identify symbols, materials, colors, labels, and object placement, then annotate what each detail may communicate to viewers. The class closes by checking initial assumptions against evidence from the artifacts and local traditions.
