Using sample recyclables and picture cards of school spaces, students learn simple vocabulary for natural resources, earth materials, and common material types such as paper, metal, plastic, and glass. Pairs rotate through short observation stations and use a teacher-made note sheet to record what students at school might confuse when sorting waste. The class clusters observations into early user needs for future bin signs and museum displays.
