🗑️ Trash to Treasure Sort

Students enter a purposely messy classroom with clean paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, cans, food wrappers, and reusable containers. In small groups, they sort items into recycling, trash, or reuse hoops, then choose one object to repurpose quickly and explain how that choice could reduce waste. The class closes by naming patterns they noticed and surfacing the driving question for the project.
