🌿 Survival Needs Notebook Setup

Using an investigation notebook template, students set up sections for observations, questions, trait notes, and survival evidence. The teacher models key vocabulary such as habitat, organism, living, nonliving, evidence, and survive, then students build simple food chains with picture cards to show food, shelter, water, and protection. Students write one observation, one question, and one prediction about which habitat an organism might survive in best.
