🧭 Bernheim Trail Clue Sort

Students rotate through stations with Bernheim photos, trail maps, leaves, feathers, track cards, and short habitat audio clips. In small groups, they sort organism and nonliving element cards into forest, wetland, and grassland categories, then defend one choice with evidence from the clues. The class ends by recording first ideas about the driving question on a chart that will be revisited later.
