Students meet with the teacher for a brief notebook and claim-card conference to show that their evidence set is ready for exhibit planning. They must explain how their sources connect, identify any missing information, and choose the best pieces to carry into the display phase. Students who meet the checkpoint move forward with a marked evidence folder; others revise notes during the same period and resubmit.
