Students examine a teacher-modeled sample evidence log and a weak example to identify what makes evidence traceable, relevant, and credible. They use their existing checklist to verify that each entry includes a source title, origin, map or image link, observation notes, and a connection to their investigation question. Students flag missing citations, vague observations, and unsupported assumptions in their own notebooks.
