Using tribal nation perspectives, environmental justice nonprofit case files, maps, and short regional articles, students co-build a source-evaluation checklist for relevance, authority, perspective, corroboration, and limits. They test the checklist on three sample sources and discuss what makes one source useful for identity, stewardship, or impact claims. The checklist is then copied into each student's case file section for repeated use.
