A tribal nation cultural or natural resources representative shares a stewardship story and maps a place of importance, then students compare that perspective with one neighborhood or global case from the launch. Students record source notes on relevance, perspective, and questions they still have, then complete a short reflection-and-revision circle naming one way their thinking changed about who should help make land and water decisions. The teacher collects each student's first investigation question as a progression checkpoint for Phase 2.
