🎤 Local Writer Feedback Notes

A local author, journalist, or poet rotates through small groups to hear a short excerpt and review one analysis section from each student’s draft. Students ask one prepared question, capture the guest’s craft advice in a revision tracker, then give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their narrative opening, turning point, or author’s purpose statement based on the strongest notes. Students submit the marked draft plus a brief reflection naming which guest craft move they want to borrow.
