🎤 Nonprofit Interview and Empathy Map

Students conduct structured interviews with staff from a neighborhood nonprofit focused on food security or recycling, then sort quotes, needs, tensions, and surprises into a team empathy map. Each team captures direct evidence with notes or recordings, distinguishes observed facts from assumptions, and drafts a user-centered problem statement. Before leaving, teams identify which assumptions still need to be checked in Phase 3 testing.
