🌍 Commons Crash Lab

Submission Required

Students cycle through a rapid shared-resource simulation using water, land, and food tokens, then debrief with a park ranger or public lands steward using local site photos and brief examples of overuse, access limits, and stewardship choices. A neighborhood nonprofit staff member joins a short stakeholder speed-meet so teams collect immediate notes on who is affected by food security or recycling decisions. The class closes by unpacking the driving question, reviewing the team case-study booth and evidence board expectations, and having teams name one local resource issue they want to investigate next.
