⚖️ Progress or Problem? Stations

Students rotate through source stations on immigration, urbanization, city life, labor, technology, and reform using photographs, headlines, short quotes, and artifact images, including material connected to the MAC’s 1903 house. In teams, they record what changed, who benefited, who was harmed, and one possible long-term consequence for each station. The class ends with a human continuum where students physically place themselves by the change they think had the biggest future impact and defend that first take with one piece of evidence.
