📝 Historian Question Board

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Effective Communication Content Expertise H1.9-10.3 H1.11-12.2 H4.11-12.1 H4.9-10.1 H1.9-10.2 Submission Required Grading Required

Students study a brief model of historical questions and Claim-Evidence-Reasoning structure, then draft one significance-over-time question about an individual, group, or movement from 1900–1910 and a short initial claim tied to the essential question. They give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their question and claim before posting them to a launch board. To close, students complete the 'before' portion of the historian self-assessment and leave one sticky note during a mini gallery walk explaining how a peer’s posted idea connects to the essential question and to their own growth as a historian.
