Each student completes a midpoint notebook check that includes current logs, one organized table or graph, and a short explanation of an early weather pattern. Students first self-check with a class checklist, then receive teacher feedback to confirm whether their records are complete enough to support the next phase. Anyone with gaps uses the final minutes to correct entries, relabel graphs, or add missing evidence notes.
