Students sort counselor notes and interview evidence into an empathy map with sections for says, thinks, feels, and needs. They then draft a clear problem statement that separates the user need from the solution and write one How Might We question for a Code.org story that could address that need. In a peer feedback round, each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises the problem statement and HMW prompt for clarity and evidence.
