Using picture cards, pairs sort actions and materials into three groups: helps plants grow, hurts plants, and keeps our garden safe. The teacher then introduces a simple class design chart with visible criteria and constraints: plant gets water, plant gets light, materials are used safely, and we do not waste water. Each child makes a quick drawing of one hydroponic idea and gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises by adding one plant need or one safe care action before a brief teacher check.
