Students use their route maps, yarn-path notes, crayons, arrows, and symbol labels to create an annotated map from Kentucky to one studied region. They add a title, compass rose reference, at least 3 labels, and short notes showing how land, water, distance, or direction could affect travel or living. A quick teacher check sends students to a redo station with tracing paper or blank mini-pages if labels or evidence need correction before moving on.
