🗺️ Legend Clues and Symbol Evidence

Students rotate through short map stations with legends, symbols, and simple scale comparisons to investigate what physical and cultural features each map shows. Small groups use a recording frame to note what each symbol means, which map is closer or farther in scale, and what evidence could help plan a journey. Each student adds a passport sentence and sketch, then gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises one symbol, caption, or feature label.
