🛂 Passport Home Base Check

Students complete their pre-made passport cover information, then practice relative location words such as above, below, next to, and between by describing Kentucky in relation to visible world regions on the wall map. In pairs, students give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise one word or sketch detail on their passport page before a quick partner map talk checkpoint. The teacher closes with a circle stem reflection and a brief check that each student can point to Kentucky, use one map tool or location word, and explain how that helps plan a journey.
