🏅 Published Narrative Defense

Students complete the final performance assessment by presenting their published personal narrative, artist statement, and symbolic artifact to the teacher using portfolio evidence. They explain how descriptive details, dialogue, or figurative language shaped plot, theme, or tone and justify how the piñata represents the challenge or growth moment. The phase closes with a brief class celebration connected to the Pinata of Turning Points tradition.
